Daytona and our environment | Eco Policy

We source our main supplies from companies who are active members of the WWF-UK Forest and Trade Network, committed to responsible sourcing of paper and board based products. They must also be FSC and PEFC certified.

We measure other suppliers against those practices as we are committed to using environmentally responsible consumables and substrates as a priority.

We also actively educate and encourage our customers to favour recyclable polypropylenes rather than PVCs.

Daytona have been committed to year on year reduction of solvent based inks and derivatives for the last 10 years and as a consequence have reduced from almost 100% solvent based inks down to less than 10%, using instead U.V. Cure, ECO and water based technologies which are considerably less harmful to the environment.

Daytona have a long standing partnership with a local waste management company, helping to plant 1000 new trees recently. Our joint ethos is to recycle. They have invested £5 million in equipment and resources which allows them to recycle even PVC and MDF. They 'SORT' through all of our waste, even by hand, to ensure everything that can be recycled, is recycled.
